BPA Launches the 5th Port Committee
7 Newly Appointed Committee Members, Designated by the Minister of MOSF
The 5th Port Committee of Busan Port Authority(BPA), a deliberative & decision making body, was launched on the 14th, and begins its 2year term.
The 5th committee, with newly appointed members, consists of 7 members: Caleb & Company CEO Kim Gyu-young, CEO Easter Marine Co. Ltd. Kim Young-deuk, Busan Harbour Pilot's Association Pilot Park Don-gyu, Taiyoung Ship Co. Ltd. CEO Park Young-an, Sogang University chair professor Jeon Joon-su, Changwon University professor Jo Jong-ju, and Dong-A University professor Choi Hyeong-rim(in Korean alphabetical order).
The Port Committee is the top decision making body for Busan Port and its related major agendas, and has the right to deliberate and the right to vote on major businesses, budget and account, port facility charges, and recommendation of executives.
